We decided to hold a goody basket raffle to benefit PAWS and have had an amazing response from our members, Local Yarn Stores and some local crafters to provide donations. We're still accepting donations, but the deadline to be listed on our flyer is Friday, Sept 5.

Tickets will be available starting Tuesday, Sept 9 at Third Street Ravelers meetups on Tuesday evenings at Higher Grounds in Northern Liberties from 6-9 pm, or the day of the event. We're still working out a few details, so feel free to contact us if you have questions.

We're still tweaking the baskets, but they will all have project ideas, yarn, a project container of some sort, and (hopefully) needles that will go with the yarn. We expect the value of each basket to be around $50, with a grand prize basket with a value of about $100.

Category: Social
Start Date: Sep 20, 2008
Start Time: 11:00am
Event Description:
Hosted by the Third Street Ravelers

We had so much fun knitting in the park on WWKIP day, that we thought we'd have another KIP day - when hopefully the weather would be more agreeable to working with yarn.

Bring a friend and celebrate the last Saturday of the Summer knitting in the park.

As before:

Free to attend! Bring a blanket or chair, plus your knitting, crocheting, or other crafty project. Also bring some snacks or beverages, if you'd like.
